Espresso Lab Microroasters is a specialty coffee roastery based at The Old Biscuit Mill, Woodstock, Cape Town.

Our quest is to find optimal ways in enjoying coffee, from sourcing small, freshly harvested coffee, to finding the right roasting profiles and espresso techniques that will make the process from bean to cup a perfect one.

Roasting is a sensory craft, one that cannot be replicated every time, however attention to detail and commitment to quality comes through in every cup.

We showcase coffees from single farms, estates and cooperatives and look to establish relationships with growers and exporters, always looking at sustainable, fair and equal trade.

We stand for experimentation and dialogue in all things related to coffee.
